I had a good time at this party, despite waiting for 1/2 hr to get in, and another 1 hr in the coat-check line-up from hell. The Jungle room was off the hook for this. I still listen to the Terry Mullan set, although it's not one of his better ones.

I'm a new member. I had to post on this one.
This jam was off the hook. I was there. For sure there had to be 10 000 plus heads at this one.
I also have the Darren Jay set and it's "Crazy".
This was my first new years party and my last.
Still "Crazy"

I was dissapointed with this party, I was expecting some newer stuff from Darren J . Still Im sure it beat whatever was going down in Chicago. Plus I got to hear GQ give a shoot out to the Chi. and I got to hear Terry Mullan.

Yes! This night was one of the coldest nights I have ever experienced in my life. The walk alone from when we got off the streetcar to the line-up was sheer hell, as the wind chill must have been well past -30. We literally huddled together in the line-up, freezing our asses off. I remember when we got inside we were so relieved that we just stood there for twenty minutes, collecting ourselves and appreciating the warmth. Arrghh, and then the coat check from hell! That was at least another half hour. It got so bad that we thought we were going to do the midnight countdown right there in the coat check line-up, but luckily we got to the jungle room just in time. I remember Darren Jay's set was pretty dark but I did enjoy it.
