Just looking at the inside scan made me go into a flashback

This party was called Love, Sex, Intelligence.
DJs: John Wright (techno, chicago), DJ Tim (Utah Saints), Derrick May (you know), Dogwhistle, Oddessey, E!n, Dr. Trance, Terry Kelly and was the introduction of SOS (I have his set on videotape.. fuckin mad! He dressed up as Science Officer Spock and had all these dancers on the speaker all in Star Trek uniforms.. I think Troll was up there too.. funny shit)
The downfall of this party was that it was almost a record breaking night temperature wise. Something like -25 without wind chill.. -40 with it. There were warnings and shit.. I almost didn't go..
It was held in a marine terminal.. HUGEass space.. high dome ceiling.. fit about 8000 easily however I think only 1000 if that turned out.. which is pretty small for Atlantis. It was so cold that in the middle of the dancefloor you could still see your breath.. the concessions left way early cause they froze there ass.
Music was amazing.. DJ TIM had a really good set, SOS blew it up and Oddessey quickly became my favorite jungle DJ that night. Huge production Atlantis style.. however they lost so much money they couldn't throw another party until Sept of that year (Airport 95).
-- funny memory -- hookin back up with my ex who was working some concession.. she was wearin that kneehigh sock/tennis skirt deal that all girls wore back then woop .. anyways.. we left around 7am.. got off the shuttle at Nathan Phillips where it was still about -30 out.. i froze just looking at her exposed legs.. anyways.. literally ran to the queen/john donut raver hangout.. walk in.. the guy behind the counter takes one look at my girl and says 'goddam.. only ravers'.

I recall going to an Alien party on a night like this. SOOOO damn cold out. Winter partying definately has it's downside. But then again....It's nice having a cool breeze from an open window when it's 40 degrees inside the party!
