TITLE: Syrous #16 - 'Invitation To Darkness' -aka- Halloween Havok
LOCATION: An Empty Meat Factory - Gunn's Road - Toronto DATE: October 26th 1996 AUDIO: {A}{B} Sniper & GQ {A}{B}{C}{D} Mystical Influence & GQ ATTENDANCE: 1800 FEATURED DJ: Toronto Dj's, MC GQ, MC Recka MEMORIES: A showcase of Toronto's Finest DJ's. MC Fearless was originally billed for this event but due to some imigration problems Canada Customs wouldnt let him in, but this ended up being a good thing. MC GQ was already in the US for a huge event which included some of the Lucky Spin crew ( if memory serves me right ) Rob made some phone calls after we lost Fearless and got in contact with GQ. By some fluke he made it across a few days before the event and we arranged a message on the phone line announcing the good news. I remember seeing (probably one is the same girl) two girls, painted red, pitchfork, horns, both holding leashes. One had what looked like a 70 year old man on a leash, wearing only his tighty whities. The other had what looked like a young asian kid on her leash.
