Empty Shell

Well, almost empty..

After the horrible weather on Sunday, the day I was originally planned on going to Buffalo but didnt, I decided to head down there Monday insted. The weather was a bit better but lighting was very dull. In some cases its ok but for a location like the one I visited.. not so good. This place is massive and has very high ceilings. I will definately have to return on a sunny day. This site was ok. I was expecting alot more as far as remnants and equipment, machinery, but unfortunately besides a couple things, there was nothing left. And to make things worse the top floors were completely gone. From a distance this place looked like it would have dozens of empty rooms and hidden places, but it was pretty much an empty shell. There are signs of many other structures that once stood here, lots of old bridges, one dated back to 1916. Signs of traintracks even an old train car still parked near the front that was pretty cool. I left wanting more and feeling a little dissapointed. I had so much hope for this place. I will return on a brighter day because theres still something next door that needs exploring.

Unfortunately not many shots turned out from this trip. Maybe I was uninspired or the lighting was just not right. I'll post a few more soon.

hehe, it was actually on my list after returning from Bethlehem Steel about a month ago. That street has a couple good sites worth checking. Should keep it undisclosed for now. The less activity the better If you know what I mean.

I recommend going on a sunny day, these high ceilings beg for it.

Dangit, we have to got to get you out with us sometime. So many great locations around there, damn, could spend every weekend this year and still be left wanting more!

Yes

So many locations in and around Buffalo, like a giant playground. We should go together sometime. I cant head back down until the end of May though. Still need to return to Bethlehem Steel but theres a slew of other sites worth investigating.

This site looks like it has a bit everything. I'm a freak for machinery, old cars, trains and this has everything. Need to get out there.

not much

It has a few little things but really not much. I was a bit dissapointed. Its really just an empty shell with a few fragments left behind. I was expecting alot more.
