My First Book - SURFACE: Industrial Decay
 
Surface is an exploration of Abandonment and Decay. In this first series I reveal some of the Industrial sites I have explored in the past. With glimpses inside Bethlehem Steel's old Main Office in New York State, built in the early 1900's, abandoned more than a decade ago. Also discover what's hidden inside some of Toronto's old industrial buildings.

I'm currently Living and working in San Francisco, California. Working on a next-gen video game entitled Star Wars The Force Unleashed. Set to release worldwide in 2008 for XBOX and the PS3 console system. I'm helping build various Environments and props the player encounters throughout the StarWars universe.

My first job in the TV/Film Industry working on a joint UK / Canadian Sci-Fi TV series for Chum Television in Toronto. Starhunter was starting its 2nd Season and Optix was in charge of all CGI.

Contest - 1st Place - Post Apocalyptic Vehicle Challenge - CGTalk.com / CGNetworks.com

In February of 2002 I entered a Modeling challenge at CGTalk . I ended up winning 1st place in the Vehicle Catagory. Click here to view my vehicle design. This challenge really helped me fill the time while I looked .for work in either Video Games or the Film Industry. This was modeled and textured in 20 days.

After graduating from the Academy of Design in Toronto, I completed my first Demo Reel featuring all the things I had learned from my studies there. 3D Animation, Modeling and Texturing plus 2D Compositing using Maya Composer and Adobe After Effects.

Creator & Director - Syrous Productions

In 1993 I started a concert company called Syrous Productions. The company hosted large dance events showcasing world renowned Dj's and live acts. Specializing in the Drum'n Bass genre of music and later catering to all types of dance music. Syrous was known, and is still remembered today, as one of the most influencial Rave companies in North America. In early 1998 I left Syrous to follow other interests and to persue my career in CGI. Syrous ended in 2002.
